@DrSteveTaylor @Parody_RCGP Im a newly retired gp partner and cannot get an appt at my gp for a fairly serious issueI phoned told to do e consult so did. Reply was I need a f2f and sent a booking link then a text to say the link wouldn’t work I needed to phone. I’ve been round this 3 times still no appt

@Pharmacistdaz It’s the antibiotic prescribing that I have spent the last ten years trying to not overdo that is now in free fall. Plus every dysuria being diagnosed as a uti. So dangerous

@AbbieTBee junior in 90’s i worked 140 hrs/wk on a 1:2 BUT. Gtteam/Learnt loads. Free accommodation /no loans free food ( even at night) given tea and toast by nurses on ward might have had 20 meds (hand written) and paid about the same as you now ! Strike hard this old doctor says

@PhilSmithIsBack It’s why I always take my own history from a patient this is the art. This is the 20 years of experience. Get the history right and it all follows. Tick boxes and ‘others’ don’t work !

@chiversenz What discharged after bloods ecg imaging monitoring. Response to meds or specialist assessment over hours. I have ten mins and history and exam. I send v few in. And that PA is welcome to a diagnostic ‘face off’ anytime

@Microbedoc2 Such a waste of time. Makes me so angry as a gp doing them and thinking of the waste of time nationally and money ( 600 ) per appraisal let alone admin.
