The United States under President Biden has embarked towards the policy of integrated deterrence in its 2022 National Defense Policy, refocusing its priorities on China and aiming to contain its ascendence as a global competitor. Integrated Deterrence Strategy strives to optimize the use of all instruments of national power and integrating with allies and partners abroad to deter the enemy. Central to this strategy is the role of India, a key strategic and defense partner of the United States, which is expected to play a pivotal part in supporting US interests in its rivalry with China. The presentation highlighted the intricate dynamics of this evolving geopolitical landscape, with a focus on repercussions for Pakistan and strategic environment of South Asian region.
