Premier David Eby is a prime example of why Canada does not have a trade deal signed with the US. We have weak leaders who care more about projecting how offended they are by Trump than actually pushing to get a good deal for Canadians. Mexico isn't being hit by additional 50% tariffs because President Claudia Sheinbaum is strong and knows how to engage in hardball negotiations. Canada is getting hit by additional 50% tariffs because Mark Carney and David Eby are weak and all they do in response to tariffs is whine and make concessions. Trump takes advantage of their incompetence. We need a change! Throwing rocks at the US President then running away like a coward is never a winning formula. It may feel good in the moment but it’s hurting our province. If I were Premier I would meet with Trump immediately and ask him what it is he needs from us. We need the US far more than they need us.

Hey @KenSimCity @CTVVancouver @CBC how the hell are people allowed to build a whole freaking house in their backyard that blocks our backyard?! What kind of zoning laws is this? You want to increase density but this is ridiculous in a reasonable neighborhood we aren’t having rental condos at the back of single family homes Vancouvers city planning is a shit show. There’s no parking there’s no space and you keep jamming 6 units into a house and no garages. This is our neighbours lane way house It’s ridiculous to have to live with the construction let alone when they rent it as 6 units in addition to the 5 at the main house.
