Griswold v Connecticut was a landmark case. While the case was argued on the rights of couples to use birth control, it really expanded personal privacy and was the foundation for many other invasions into personal relationships. For example, many states had sodomy laws and G v C was the foundation to overturn those laws as well. Even this ultra right wing SC would would be forced strike down any laws to make contraceptives illegal. There is just too much judicial precedence to do otherwise.
@chrislhayes @GulliAz 🤬🤬🤬🤬 Good grief, @chrislhayes That is chilling.
@chrislhayes She's as reptilian as Trump
@chrislhayes Griswold is what started the whole concept of "unenumerated penumbral rights." And what has left us with folks claiming that everything nowadays is a "right".
@chrislhayes Most people that can read the constitution think this including intellectually honest libs. Heck I bet @cenkuygur would even agree with this
@chrislhayes @joncoopertweets 71 year old women should sit this one out!
@chrislhayes @joncoopertweets They think by forcing white women to give birth they will save the Republican Party in future years, when the reality is nobody can afford to have a family
