Honestly the narratives can change even more after week 2. What people on the outside of the sec fail to realize is these rivalry games have zero to do with talent & everything to do with who woke up more pissed off that morning. Whether y’all won by 100 or lost by 1, I do not want to see an ole miss team who hates us more than we hate them in oxford. Point blank

This proves the timing if transfers matter so much. Had Konsa & Bruno been signed on the last day, Arsenal fans & media would be cheering galore. But because they didnt leave their business to the last minute, no chaos, it’s looked at as no marquee signing & not a strong enough window. Very interesting

@Blue_Footy Also 3 years younger. Enzo at River was more slim. We have no clue how Barco will develop & mature in the next couple of seasons & yet fans are ready to write him off. Had he gone to Psg we’d never hear the end of it.

Sure but how does it look to other clubs now that if you get that far into negotiations you might be pulling out. Written agreements are a signature away and if you’ve okay’d the documents & we sign & send them to you just for you to decide you’re backing out it’s considered extremely unethical in business and will come back to bite you.

Too much crying going on in the TL. Even if we didn’t sign another midfielder we would play at most 19 games before the Jan window opens up. If you’re telling me that one midfield signing keeps us from “competing” and we can’t figure it out with the talent we have then we weren’t even close to begin with. Would rather see us use what we have & find the exact profile we need than to panic buy just for the sake of it right before the window closes.

Really unhappy with some of the comments I’m seeing regarding Levi Colwill. Are we purposefully ignoring the fact that he missed 9 months due to an ACL injury? This was his sixth competitive match in 12 months. He’s Cobham, one of us. Support him through the highs AND lows.
