Then, days later, she was in a suite at the Arlington BTS concerts, smiling for the camera, and posting the classic “I’m here but that doesn’t mean I fully agree with them” disclaimer. That disclaimer is the tell. She understands the principle of separating the art from the artist when it protects her enjoyment and her content. She simply refuses to extend the same logic to the two people she claimed to be defending. The moment the outrage stops being profitable or convenient, the moral absolutism evaporates. This isn’t principled fandom. It’s selective purity theater. You don’t get to demand that BTS members live under a higher ethical standard than the one you’re willing to apply to yourself the second tickets and suite access are on the line. If attending a concert “doesn’t mean endorsement,” then it never did—for anyone. The hypocrisy is real. But the deeper problem is how easily parts of the fandom still reward the loudest, most emotional performance of morality… until the same person quietly cashes in on the very group they just publicly dragged.

cris brwn is the guilty one, but if you look at the comments on his last post, people are acting like namjoon and hoseok are to blame. are armys really defending women's rights or just hating on namseok? make up your mind. if you really want to back up the army who was insulted, go after that guy because he's the one who trashed our fandom today based on your comments, just to shift the hate away from himself and onto namseok. pointing fingers and making up parasocial scenarios won't help you or bts. you're just ruining your connection with the boys over things you created in your own head. i'd tell you to calm down and trust them, but you'll probably att*ck me for saying that anyway :)

"Actually he is not the only member into arts" "actually, he is not the only proficient English speaker" "actually this member is the leader behind closed doors" "actually this actually that" Everyone is allowed to make mistakes but him because the moment he does? Suddenly he isn't BTS. He is namjoon. A lot of Armys deeply resent him and while I understand that being the leader and face of BTS he'll always be subject to a different level of pressure and criticism, you'd think that Armys would be the last ones to make his life hell whenever he stumbles but nope.

Bc if i ask why it was only namjoon who took those gender equality classes when all of them sang the same lyrics on the same song i doubt i'll have an answer. Always namjoon at a different standard even when he goes the extra mile and puts in extra effort
