@upper_reality It’s always like this. I’ve seen grown men’s eyes glisten over what other men say because they find it inspiring, but when it’s a woman that says the same thing, there’s always this “I see what you mean, but…”. So childish.
There was a tweet from a woman on here last year that said that for the sake of her mental health, she instantly blocks men that disagree with her because most instinctively do it because we’re just conditioned to disagree with anything women say. And she was correct.
Just saw someone say the game Fortnite should sue Taylor for naming a song “Fortnight” because they’ve had the name first and it’s clearly associated… Do people not know that the word fortnight existed before the game… do people really lack brain cells like that?
Basta settle with someone who is always sure about you. You deserve consistency and assurance, you deserve that type of love that allows you to sleep peacefully at night.

<Traumatic event occurs> Toxic positivity: Everything happens for a reason! Gaslighting: It never happened—it’s all in your head. Invalidation: You’re fine—no need to be upset. Minimizing: It wasn’t that bad—could be worse. Avoidance: (silence) Grifting: This will heal you!
Once you catch a narcissist lying, they will never ‘trust’ you again.

You watch the dynamics of podcasts, tv panels, and the men always have this “but…” need to rebuttal and disagree with anything women say. Almost like it’s customary. It’s become a socially accepted ‘natural reaction’ and it’s not normal. At all. You’re just a misogynistic POS.
A lot of boys and men genuinely believe that they have to disagree or combat whatever point women try to make, especially when it pertains to men’s behaviors. Even when they’re 100% right. Agreeing with them makes you a ‘simp’, ‘sus’ or weak. It’s honestly pathetic.
