@ccnr_b they should just pay you better at your job, why does tipping culture exist I genuinely felt guilty because I was the only one getting tips at my job at one point just because I was the cashier
@ccnr_b I had somebody tell me to keep the change over a decade ago. It was a penny.
@ccnr_b i once had a guy at a casino order a pizza to the parking garage pay essentially the same amount and he looked down to his son and said “go on, give him his tip” and it was fucking 35 cents. ever since that day i have given even a ten dollar check five dollars or more
@ccnr_b this happens to me every other shift lmao
@ccnr_b 1 dollar for instore purchases 2 dollars for delivery, sorry but I'm poor to
@ccnr_b These people utterly hate those point-of-sale machines that automatically calculate the tip, especially because they have to goto the "custom" screen to add zero.
@ccnr_b @chronocrump That juicy 4% tip.
@ccnr_b I greatly dislike the culture of tipping because I think it ultimately disadvantages tipped workers, but until they fix the system if you don't have money to tip you don't have money to eat out.
