@penswordbooks @FEPOW_History @authordlewis My lovely dad, John Geoffrey Lee, RAF 84 Squadron, who died on this day June 22nd in 2002, four days before his 81st birthday. His book POW on the Sumatra Railway was published on 30th June last year. We shall never forget.🌺🌺

@peter_levy The whole country needs to be standardised for recycling. Here in Whaplode St Catherine, in South Lincolnshire we only have black and green bags. We have to supply our own when the ones supplied by the council run out. Bins would be much better. Christine

@virginmedia Hi, my mums landline phone is being cut off today and she has been told to ring up to arrange the broadband, I am 2 hours away from her and can’t talk on her behalf. She is 98 and is immobile. This is ridiculous she has no means of communication.
