Watching the footage of the unbelievable bravery and professionalism of the Nashville police officers who took out a school shooter and saved countless lives, I am just haunted by the thought of the Uvalde parents seeing this and what it must feel like for them.
@bungarsargon It is possible that Uvalde inspired this response. Who wants to respond like Uvalde did? I am not trying to lessen the tragedy of either incident.
@bungarsargon Yes. Nashville showed what good masculinity combined with good training looks like. And props to the woman outside for maintaining her composure and offering good intel to the cops.
@bungarsargon Exactly my thoughts. Rethinking about Uvalde only upset me more.
@bungarsargon The officers were undoubtedly brave. In Uvalde they were clearly cowardly. Six people, including three nine year olds, still died here.
@bungarsargon Guns on the scene would have prevented this. Also marginalized people on drugs is a bad combo.
@bungarsargon The Nashville metro has 2 million people plus violent gang crime. Uvalde has 26k people in the metro. Apples to oranges. It's like comparing the US military to a country with a population the size of Vanuatu in Melanesia.
@bungarsargon A tale of two police departments.
@bungarsargon Unbelievable how lazy the Uvalde police were. That’s how destructive poor leadership can be.
