EU adds Justin Sun's HTX to Russia sanctions list The EU has placed HTX and Huobi Global S.A. on its Russia sanctions list, naming the Justin Sun (@justinsuntron) linked exchange among 18 crypto service providers accused of helping Russian users move money around Western restrictions. The listing bans EU operators from transacting with the exchange but stops short of a full designation, so no asset freeze is attached. It lands two months after the UK sanctioned Huobi Global S.A., a designation HTX shrugged off by insisting the Panama entity was separate from the exchange itself. The EU list now names both side by side. HTX is the largest exchange yet swept into the Russia sanctions net, a sign that offshore giants are no longer outside the reach of Western enforcement.
🇪🇺 REGULATION: The EU has expanded its sanctions to ban transactions with 14 crypto platforms based in Georgia, Panama, the UAE, the Marshall Islands, Kyrgyzstan, and Belarus.
Yes rate limiting can help but at what point does retrying become excessive when multiplied at scale? When does the agent succeed? After the 100th attempt? These are some key points as to why you should also have an agentic feedback framework in your API responses.
One overlooked risk in the agentic future is what happens when thousands or millions of AI agents interact with APIs. What happens when an agent receives an unexpected response and doesn’t know how to recover? It retries. Then it retries again. Now multiply that behavior across thousands of agents. A failure in an API designed for humans could become a resource exhaustion problem in an agent-driven world. Not necessarily because agents are malicious, but because they are making decisions based on incomplete information. This is why agentic APIs need better communication. Agents need to understand what happened, why it happened, and what the correct next action is. The future of APIs is not just handling requests. It is guiding autonomous systems safely through decisions.
Agentic Feedback Framework is very much needed for the future.
@twetchapp and @treechatai both offer unique features and bring value to the ecosystem, so for LocalBSV to compete directly in the social space doesn’t make much sense. Keep up the good work 🫡
The last 4 weeks have been packed with R&D. Countless hours of building, debugging, testing, and learning. Every day I’ve gained a better understanding of what LocalBSV needs to become. The to-do list is finally getting smaller, and a big round of improvements is on the way. Some older features, like the social feed, will be deprecated so I can dedicate those resources to features that provide more value. I’m especially excited about what’s coming for Peer Chat. I think it’s going to be one of the biggest upgrades LocalBSV has seen quite soon along with the BSV Token Dex. It’s been a grind, but seeing everything slowly come together makes every late night worth it. I’m more motivated than ever to keep building and see this vision through. The costs have been compounding but eventually, once the code is built, tested, and hardened, it will no longer need constant refining. To everyone who has tested and used LocalBSV, thank you. I truly appreciate every one of you for helping make LocalBSV a home for peers today and for years to come. 🍻
