So, all this discourse is because people are mad that a *cocktail bar* is child free? Wanting to drink and curse and flirt in a *cocktail bar* without setting a bad example is a sign that you “hate kids”?
Last I checked, my friends with kids also need time away from kids. They still love their kids. 🤷🏽♀️
@briebriejoy They think it's age discrimination. "Why is my dog allowed but not my kid" (because your dog isn't a nightmare)
@briebriejoy Proprietors discretion.
@briebriejoy Like, Brie is pro excluding kids from certain places but against excluding men who larp women from women specific activities, sports and spaces. This is, like, your brain on PMC. And why when she pretends “woke” is a “right wing” ruse etc I lol. It’s, like, look in the mirror.
@briebriejoy I smell a great Rising segment!
@briebriejoy It’s okay to not like kids. This gets parents really angry to hear, but oh well.
@briebriejoy There's nothing wrong with the policy itself. Posting a "21+" or "18+" sign would've been just fine. But specifically saying "dogs are welcome but kids aren't" seems like phrasing designed to trigger this reaction (defensive/over-sensitive parents & gloating child-haters).
@briebriejoy I think we should have more kid-free zones. I want kid-free movies. I want kid-free flights. Kid-free cruises. All of it.
@briebriejoy I think some people wake up, every morning, looking to hate something . Their lives have no meaning otherwise. I say this as a parent of 4. The parents Who complain about this should never, ever get time away from their children. Ever!
