Heartbreaking details are being released right now by prosecutor Karen McDonald. During school, Ethan drew a picture of his gun along with the words “help me” and “blood everywhere.” He was sent to the office but was sent back to class. The shooting happened about 3 hours later
McDonald also said the parents, who were called to the office for the meeting, had just bought their 15 year old son a gun 4 days earlier. They didn’t say anything about the gun during the meeting.
@brettkast So many red flags that could have prevented this….
@brettkast The parents are bad...thats obvious. I don't get stupid but it's everywhere in 2021
@brettkast This seems to have been a serious red flag undected. If not this one, what would it have taken?!!! Whomever sent him back to class should be immediately suspended with pay, pending a more complete investigation.
@brettkast @MichiganRunsFB I mean seriously … the kid asked for help said his life is useless … I mean this was possibly preventable ….. the voices won’t stop …. He was having a break and no one helped him … mental illness is real ……. Here the school pays him on the head and says go back to class
@brettkast If the school didn't do a threat assessment when he was sent to the office for that picture then they should get sued big time
