Arizona Board of Education rejects rules barring 'extravagant' purchases with school voucher money. Republicans say #ESA law doesn't restrict spending. 12news.com/mobile/article…
@brahmresnik Once again details matter—so let’s use them. The current handbook has many of the restrictions already in place that opponents complain about. Also—only ESA students with severe disabilities receive those higher awards. The vast majority of ESA recipients receive $7k or less.
@brahmresnik That law blew a 300 million dollar hole in the State budget.
@brahmresnik Arizona taxpayers should not be paying for students whose families can afford this private schooling.
@brahmresnik @milehighresists This is DISGUSTING. School vouchers are code for #GivawaysForTheRich
@brahmresnik Disgusting irresponsibility! I am voting all Republicans in AZ OUT! I am irate with the ESA program foisted on us when we voters told legislators we did not want voucher expansion, 60% opposing voucher expansion!
@brahmresnik What a scam this voucher program is. It will hurt the Arizona education system for decades.
@brahmresnik If there are restrictions on the ESA program then Republicans can’t bankrupt public education program in the state. And that’s their goal. To defund public schools.
@brahmresnik Child education is not a priority for these right wingers…. their hearts, minds, and bank accounts are open to input from the corporate world only.
