Been out canvassing in Makerfield since 6am this morning 🇬🇧💪 absolutely exhausted defending democracy while everybody else is asleep or “going too work” like sheep. Unfortunately todays efforts got off too a terrible start because I accidentally spent nearly two hours delivering leaflets for Restore Britain instead of Reform UK 😡 In my defence they all use the same colours, same slogans and same angry divorced bloke energy. Apparently Rob Kenyon found out and sent a couple of his heavies too “have a word” with me behind a Heron Foods. One of them poked me in the chest with a Gregg’s steak bake and called me “politically disorganised.” Honestly terrifying. Mind you it didn’t really matter whose doors I was knocking on at 7am because EVERYBODY got furious anyway. One woman opened her upstairs window and screamed: “WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING ABOUT THE ECHR BEFORE BREAKFAST??” Another bloke chased me down his driveway in socks while I attempted too explain the dangers of Starmer, Islam and electric scooters 🇬🇧 Typical intolerance from the left. Things got particularly bleak near the estate when a gang of school children started following me around chanting: “REFORM GRANDAD” “BIGOT BATMAN” and “YOUR VEST SMELLS OF BACON” One of them actually threw a Fruit Shoot at my shin. Thankfully I was rescued by the local imam from the mosque nearby, who invited me inside for a calming cuppa and a sit down ☕ Lovely fella honestly. Very polite. Which obviously confused me because Facebook told me something completely different. He even told the children too leave me alone and gave me a custard cream. Strange times in Britain 🇬🇧 Later on I bumped into Gemma Collins outside Wetherspoons and attempted too woo her again by saying: “You’d make a brilliant patriotic first lady.” She looked at me sadly and replied: “Babe… no.” Completely devastated. I then tried too enter the Wetherspoons for breakfast and a restorative pint but was refused service due too “inappropriate clothing.” Now personally I think that’s ridiculous. This is Wigan Spoons not the bloody Viper Rooms 😡🇬🇧 Apparently “historical military attire” is frowned upon nowadays by woke management. In hindsight perhaps the Waffen SS uniform was a touch ambitious for a Tuesday morning but still. Freedom of expression matters. Outraged, I stood near the fruit machine and began passionately singing “The Gambler” by Kenny Rogers 🇬🇧🎶 Only two patriots joined in: a man eating chips at 9:15am, and somebody who may have been barred already. The rest of the pub looked deeply embarrassed before bouncers eventually ejected me onto the pavement beside a mobility scooter. Humiliating. Still… tomorrow we go again 🇬🇧💪 Wigan needs Restore. Or Reform. Or erm… One of them anyway.

Some notes on my work ethic: -I last voted in Parliament on 18 March, so I haven’t done my job for ten weeks. -I’ve never held any face-to-face constituency surgeries, despite apparently having £5 million to spend on security. -I refuse to do interviews or face press scrutiny of any sort. -when I was in the European Parliament I had the 4th worst attendance record out of 748 MEPs. -although I did manage to turn up to vote AGAINST plans to tackle Russian misinformation. -I was on the Fisheries Committee but I only turned up to ONE out of 42 meetings. -but I will of course be taking my £73,000 EU pension. Vote Reform, get lazy, grifting, self-serving sacks of shit.

While Farage pockets millions as a "reward" for Brexit, the rest of us are left with soaring energy bills, political chaos and a broken economy. He only cares about himself and his wealthy donors. It is up to all of us to make sure he never becomes prime minister.
