What cures people of prejudice? A burning question for disabled people too

This was very, very hard to say. But sadly and mind-bogglingly it still needs saying. So with a heavy heart I did. Because I am bloody knackered of trying to cure people of antisemitism. (Do watch in full before replying if you can...)

I was on a train yesterday and of course wearing my face mask, somebody told me it is very cool, I explained that I am an NHS consultant and a Dr Who fan, it seems apt. He said "I clapped for you" - I replied "Did you vote for us?" - there was silence

This thread shows the massive gap between physical and mental health provision. Why do mh professionals tend to ignore the physical health evidence?! Makes no sense to me.

I’ve been under a specialist hospital since I was a child for my lungs. These Drs on the adult team have been involved in my care for 15years+ It never seems to amaze me how kind, approachable, reflective these guys are.

@jessphillips You’re spot on!! We have access to 200000 gowns every two weeks protective suits ICU suits goggles etc been trying to supply the government for weeks and no had one reply! Wish the government would tell the truth!

Well said! There is a profound difference between accepting reduction of civil liberties and condoning infringement of human rights. If you want to be with a dying relative, BE THERE. There is nothing in NHS Guidance - or law - to stop you. (if you'd rather not, that's ok too)
