The winners in 2026 won’t be the "vibe coders" who can write the longest prompts. They will be the systems thinkers who know how to manage the chaos those prompts create. Have you hit the unmaintainable wall with an AI builder yet?

The most important product I shipped this month had an audience of exactly one. Here’s how a 2-hour side project solved a real-world relationship bug. 🧵 1/ Last week, my wife and I hit some friction. A standard domestic misfire. I wanted to apologize, but typing "sorry" into iMessage felt incredibly flat. It’s lazy UX. 2/ I wanted to capture the weird, handmade energy of the inside jokes we had when we first met. So I spent Sunday morning building LoveQuest. 3/ It’s a dead-simple web app. You pick a question, generate a link, and send it. They see two buttons: Yes and No. But the No button runs away. 4/ Try to click No, and it dodges your cursor. It scoots across the screen. The UI accepts one answer only. Failure is literally not an option. 5/ The result? She laughed. The friction evaporated. 100% conversion rate on a sample size of one. 6/ Seems like developers spend so much time optimizing for faceless users that we forget how to design for the people sitting right next to us. If you aren't building silly things, you're taking tech entirely too seriously. 7/ I cleaned it up and pushed it live. No logins, no database. Just your message in a link.
