When I used to feel this way as a teenager I was always comforted by the fact that the future was unknown and still to be determined. As I get older, that sense of comfort fades and I start to realize I may be alone, and this may be it.

Never been one to profit emotionally off being charitable myself. But the hypocrisy that comes once the problem is one that affects our own lives is almost laughable.
