You sir, are extremely gentle with your comment about lots of potential. I would add there is A LOT of potential to catch up to the last decade of baseline cyber security practices…. however, I would suspect the culprit here is budget, especially if it is similar to those universities in the US. I also know that Microsoft defender for identity would’ve caught the coercion… free plug for you!

@vysecurity My favorite was when a client referred to how they caught and released a previous red team 100+ times. I didn’t have the heart to break it to them that wasn’t a red team, just a script kiddy.

Blue Teamers and auditors love themselves a check box. It’s just a way of thinking that makes them feel more secure. There’s a reason it was a red pill in the Matrix: You must free your mind to imagine the possibilities. That can be scary to some people and elicit emotional responses.
