D3 Transfer Jacob Ference just providing more evidence that there’s ballers at every level, here he comes through with a 2 run bomb to give @UVABaseball the 4-2 lead in the rubber match with Wake Forest. He’s hitting .471 for the Hoos on the season!
Last season at Salisbury he hit .364 with 12 doubles and 14 dong balls. That’ll play alright. That’ll play
@bigdonkey47 @UVABaseball Watching @NWLbaseball really shows that a lot of D3er’s can hang with D1. Much less separation than people realize.
@bigdonkey47 @UVABaseball Maybe he ONLY good in the transfer portal mess is that kids who are overlooked are getting a chance at record Levels
@bigdonkey47 @UVABaseball We knew it had to happen, but I was apprehensive what they'd do after the years with Teel. Excellent pickup... and Ethan Anderson goes behind the plate once or twice a week, too.
@bigdonkey47 @UVABaseball I trained Jacob since he was in middle school. I love him! So much for to love about him. Size, personality, work ethic, power, arm, grit, etc. I honestly believe he got over looked. We made one little tweak two offseason ago to better hit the off speed. The rest is history.
@bigdonkey47 @UVABaseball cover more of these D2/D3 transfers moving up to D1🤝🏽
@bigdonkey47 @UVABaseball Played against him at the D3 CWS, buddy can play a lil ball.
