Senator Ted Cruz has proposed legislation to abolish the IRS, and implement a simple flat tax. Do you support this?
@TaraBull808 No. A flat tax does not really set people free. Repeal the 16th amendment, abolish the IRS, and take the income tax to Zero. Replace all tax with a consumption tax. Only then will Americans be truly free. @FairTaxOfficial
@bibaherman97 @TaraBull808 @FairTaxOfficial This would solve a lot of problems because a consumption tax would make everyone have skin in the game and they’d be less likely to vote for politicians who promise more government spending programs.
@bibaherman97 @TaraBull808 @FairTaxOfficial Make the flat tax ONLY on non-essential luxury items over $150k
@bibaherman97 @TaraBull808 @FairTaxOfficial I just commented the same! Consumption tax for with win 🥇
@bibaherman97 @TaraBull808 @FairTaxOfficial Imagine the fallout once people realize buying a house or a car ect would include a 30-35% sales tax 🤣
@bibaherman97 @TaraBull808 @FairTaxOfficial What you clearly mean is a consumption "tab" for proven rendered services and not vague collection.
@bibaherman97 @TaraBull808 @FairTaxOfficial Interesting. I'll look into that consumption tax.
@bibaherman97 @TaraBull808 @FairTaxOfficial I have said for years there should be flat tax on everything we purchase. Certain percent goes to your state for your schools, roads, etc. No more complaining about who pays more. You make more, you spend more, you pay more taxes. Lamborghini =more tax than Mazda 3
@bibaherman97 @TaraBull808 @FairTaxOfficial If you struggle to buy food now taxing it will make it worse for the poor
