@Alina_MSN_RN I would just keep WFH, let them fire him and collect unemployment while looking for a new job. They are the ones violating his work contract. If they want a problem give them one. Doesn’t hurt to have a lawyer go over your other options too.

Kids remote learning in the 1940s amid polio pandemic. Teachers read lessons over the radio. Thank goodness we once prioritized children—so that they didn’t die and get disabled. Thank goodness for vaccines too, especially invented & given free to the world for all mankind.

@Oldboatie @ChantalMoniqueC I only have 2 people as well who even acknowledge Covid and its seriousness. I’m so tired . I’ve lost respect for the MDs and RNs I used to hold in such high regard. I’m doing my best to accept this new normal and whatever the future holds. Totally understand the sadness.

Universal masking and social distancing at the start of the pandemic were so effective that they eliminated a strain of flu, and now annual flu vaccines have been redesigned because that strain no longer needs to be included in the shot. Amazing.

@broadwaybabyto Yes my friend was told she could not mask because it scares the patients 🙄. So she quit and left bedside nursing. She was one of the best most caring nurses in the world. So they lost an amazing employee and the patients lost a life saving soul lifting RN.
