I have conducted around 60–70 interviews in my career, and from that experience I have clearly understood the main problems freshers face. The biggest issue is the lack of practical skills. Even though many have degrees or completed courses, they often struggle to perform when it comes to real work. Knowing theory is no longer enough; hands-on skills are what really matter. Another major problem is mindset. Many freshers are only focused on getting a job, but they don’t invest time in self-improvement or developing a learning habit. During interviews, lack of confidence and the inability to properly present their skills often becomes visible. The reality is that to get a job, you first have to prove what value you can deliver. A degree or a CV alone is not enough anymore. That’s why I want freshers to get more opportunities, but for that, they also need to build strong learning habits, do internships or volunteer work, and create professional connections. These steps not only increase their chances of landing a job but also help build a solid foundation for a long-term career.
