@TheBlogfines You prob had to either give Caissie significant playing time this year or trade him, couldn’t have him repeating AAA again and there wasn’t a spot in the majors w/o injuries, also you have Ethan Conrad as a contingency so the loss stings less

@TheBlogfines 1. There are a lot of criticisms I would have for this FO, but they are measured and value obsessed when signing FA, if they do sign Tucker its b/c their models say so, not b/c they had a hunch 2. I'd prioritize extensions for PCA and Suzuki over Tucker at this point

@TheBlogfines I don’t take away much from this loss, it sucks, they prob had to be perfect with Peralta on the mound, but at least they didnt burn thru a bunch of bullpen capital to barely lose, this game specifically was gonna be an uphill battle even before it started

@DaBearNecess I don't necessarily think the issue w/ Caleb is that he can't see the field which were Mitch's and Justin's issues. I think he just needs the reps, and the problem is they wasted last yr w/ him getting reps in a broken system.

@DaBearNecess I thought Caleb's pocket management was significantly better than last yr and he made a concerted effort to play on time. The playbook is def limited rn, hopefully as Braxton gets healthier, OL & pass catchers gain more confidence in the scheme, it opens up more.
