Proposal #46 has passed: 79.8% turnout, 2.7B $TX voting in favor. PSE will pause for one year after its final scheduled distribution on November 6, 2026, and resumes December 6, 2027. Staking rewards will continue throughout.

tx ASCEND introduces an important concept for the long-term TX economy: economic recapture. Under the proposed framework, 5% of ecosystem net fees would be used for periodic TX acquisitions, creating a direct connection between ecosystem activity and the token economy. What stands out is the flexibility in how acquired TX can be used: burned, placed into a restricted long-term reserve, or directed toward network and validator incentives to help offset new minting. As adoption grows and more value flows through the tx ecosystem, a mechanism like this could allow TX to participate directly in that growth. Just as importantly, future changes to these allocations would remain subject to onchain governance. Real utility. Real economic activity. Value flowing back into the ecosystem. This is the kind of long-term economic design I want to see being built around $TX.

This is one of the more interesting pieces of ASCEND. Connecting ecosystem fees directly to TX acquisitions creates a clear link between usage and the token economy. If tx can continue growing activity across its Super App, Marketplace, RWAs and wider ecosystem, that 5% becomes increasingly meaningful. The governance component is important too. The community retains a say in how that recaptured value is ultimately deployed. Strong framework and a positive direction for the long-term economics of $TX.

I’ve just read through the TX ASCEND proposal, and the direction is clear: build stronger demand, utility and real economic activity before expanding supply further. The 12-month PSE pause is only one part of the plan. What stands out more is the broader strategy around ecosystem fee buybacks, tokenized assets, institutional infrastructure, the TX Super App, SoloTex, the Marketplace and support for builders creating real products on the network. The proposed 5% allocation of ecosystem net fees toward purchasing $TX is especially important. If TX can grow meaningful revenue across its products and infrastructure, it creates a direct connection between ecosystem adoption and demand for the token. For me, that is the bigger picture. Reduce near-term supply pressure, keep building utility, grow real usage and create an economic model where the success of the ecosystem can flow back into $TX. Execution will ultimately determine the outcome, but ASCEND gives the ecosystem a much clearer framework for the next stage of growth. The focus now has to be simple: build, onboard users, bring assets onchain and generate real economic activity.

A very positive step for the long-term development of the TX ecosystem. The part that stands out to me is that ASCEND goes well beyond pausing PSE. Connecting ecosystem revenue, buybacks, tokenization, institutional adoption and real product usage gives $TX a much stronger economic foundation. Now it comes down to execution. If the products succeed, the token should increasingly benefit from the growth of the ecosystem around it.
