Jon Stewart still has it in terms of being funny and entertaining but the political content of this monologue is basically the New York Times op-ed page in TV form. Both sides are not in fact equally bad!

@atrupar That wasn't his point. He never said they're identical in every way. The conclusion is that it's not wrong to question why voters have to choose between two of the oldest people to ever run.
@atrupar If you think he said this you weren’t paying attention.
@atrupar The Daily Show “Indecision” schtick pre-2016 was always about how bad both candidates were. Ie, Why can’t we nominate better people? I love Jon. But I think those were different times. Not sure we can afford to keep up that schtick in this existentially dangerous age.
@atrupar I think he’s correct though, while not equally bad, we are in an embarrassing situation with these candidates
@atrupar I don't think I agree with you here! This is the most optimistic thing I've heard in a year. I've been trying to tell myself, "if we pick Trump again, we deserve it!" I just got validation!
@atrupar Joe Biden is washed and his decline will be exponential. By the end of his second term he will be in a chair eating apple sauce with a blanket on his lap pretending he is President, while a team of people do the job for him. I’m not voting for that.
@atrupar Yeah the last 3 years have proven that this side is far worse.
@atrupar “I heard you drank waaaay too much tequila last night..” ”Yeah, I Rupar’ed all over the parking lot and my new shoes.”
