Already was in federal court all the way back in December 2025 and the state played games, waited until the last minute and now claiming there isn’t time. Not a great position for the state to go back and ask those federal courts for relief when they ignored what those same courts ruled 9 months ago.

And that is addressed in the unanimous opinion of the state SC. They didn’t issue remedy because they didn’t have to. The state did it to themselves by issuing decision on the day of the primary. The USSC stepping in at all right now against a unanimous state high court would be entirely partisan. Slippery slope for a party that could very well lose total control of all three branches. Especially when those SC justices could face a very public impeachment process.

@2024dion Don’t dispute that. But the same development could have covered the gravel parking lot. Same addition of residents and business without giving away half of a public park. Build around them, not on them.

All of this was Berkley Riverfront Park between the river and Riverfront Dr. They took more than half of the park to build Two Birds One Stone and the rest for their development. And now only refer to it as “founder’s park”.. assuming so someone can suggest to rename it after themselves.
