J-pop fans pretending it's as accessible for casuals as K-pop when there isn't even really a decent general J-pop news site in English is something.
Probably the most known one on here has one post about Hitomi Honda (her graduation) and hasn't covered an AKB48 release in a year.
@asianjunkiecom even Arama is very selective in their news and that's because they probably have several writers that want to write some subgenres
@asianjunkiecom No way jpop fans said that ? Its very famous how hostile Japan is to foreign fans as well as being super aggressive with copyright. Unless you're in a specific fandom (or forum when they were used) it's hard to get aggregated jpop news
@asianjunkiecom Really! While J-pop may not have the massive coverage of K-pop, there are many sites that try to get the message out there.
@asianjunkiecom Most likely due to DMCA strikes… Jpop agencies don’t like it and actively report for copyright infringement.
@asianjunkiecom Not to mention the often lack of English subtitles in videos
@asianjunkiecom =LOVE, also known as Ikorabu is currently a 10-member Japanese idol group produced by Sashihara Rino
