@fzzt_simmons Also Stars on Ice would have been great opportunity to announce his retirement but he didn’t. I think (and hope) that as long as he is healthy he will at least give it one more year and go out with nothing really to lose. 🤞🏻

@fzzt_simmons I agree with the others here. Jason has even said he didn’t really want to end up the those nationals. With changes this season that could benefit him I think it is worth sticking around at least one more year and this is a good sign.

absolutely think it would be great if NASCAR fans supported the @bundleofjoyfund it’s a charity created by Samantha and kyle busch and provides monetary grants for in-need couples struggling with infertility and the costs associated with IVF treatment.

@vmstagemom Well Jason was the one exception of the singles. He was leading those guys in many of those group numbers and looked way better. They truly needed him. I think all that show experience all over the world has benefited him. Hopefully will continue so we can still see him skate.

@harocats @climate_lake I would be ok with that. Tomoki was shafted to because they want Max. I am happy for Max but they were extra tough on Tomoki. Plus I love Jacob. He is like a young Jason in some ways with his artistry. Great potential.

@June15th2025 @Wakawarrior1 Love it but you know he is too nice to do that. Though I would keep 4CC so he can maybe get a better end to his career since I feel all the negativity backstage must have gotten to him. Then say hey not doing worlds. Good luck. My decade of saving you is done.

@June15th2025 @Wakawarrior1 I get why Jason wasn’t picked. Though maybe we do give a little too much weight for a usually inflated nationals. However I would not trust Torg for the team event. His worlds finishes show he’s unreliable internationally.

@harocats @climate_lake Maybe but hard not to trust someone who has never been outside the top 10 at worlds. He has also earned that trust internationally. People have bad days. The other options haven’t really been that much better internationally and are more of an unknown on the world stage.

@harocats @climate_lake He had higher scores than Torg this season other than nationals. I think they couldn’t justify not having Torg and are afraid he is going to do another 20+ finish at Worlds. I think picking Jason for worlds says more about the typical consistently of the others more than anything

@June15th2025 @Wakawarrior1 Yeah Jason had a bad nationals but how many bad international events has Torg had in the last 2 years including 2 20+ finishes at worlds which is why they don’t trust him again for this years worlds alone without asking Jason to try to save the 3 rd spot yet again.
