Learn more about how to get started with #UE5: https://t.co/UoseIQW5lVI understand it, but I'm so saddened by this. Honestly, Xcode is an infant when compared to mature JetBrains IDEs – it's cute but useless, really, and screams and shits itself all the time. So long AppCode and thanks for all the fish, you will be missed 👋
With the release of v2022.3, we are sunsetting the AppCode product. We’ll no longer sell new subscriptions or renew existing ones. All active subscriptions will get a fallback to v2022.3. Thank you for being with us! More information: jb.gg/sunset-appcode
2/ Jon swears by @appcode and I am intrigued to actually try to use it for refactoring now. While the GUI still feels awkward, after watching many hours of someone using it, it feels a lot less daunting to actually try it out. jetbrains.com/objc/nextversi…
@manuelmaly 🤔 With @appcode I can create a Bookmark with “F3” and can view/jump with CMD-F3.
@mattbierner @github @code Just like the @PlantUML support I've been happily using in @jetbrains tools such as @appcode, for a while now. Document in text, it diffs easily so you can see when/if/how much designs change. If I'd been doing that 20 years ago wouldn't be wondering about vector file formats.
Jetbrains IDE’s are amazing, AppCode was an absolute life-saver when I did Objective-C and it’s nice to see it catching up to feature set it had in Swift as well. FYI. Sourcery was mostly written in AppCode, it’s snippet execution was instrumental in learning about SourceKit
🎉 AppCode starts 2020.3 EAP: ⭐️ Swift support improvements ⭐️ Change Signature improvements ⭐️ New intentions and inspections ⭐️ And even more! 👉 Check the details in our blog: blog.jetbrains.com/objc/2020/09/a…
.@reveal_app integration in @appcode is great, I especially like the live editing capability. Also, I think new, you can inspect layers as well as views. Nice Work!
Do you manually write raw values to Swift enums? I do. And now I have enum with 132 cases (don't ask) where I need to specify string raw value. Thanks @appcode for regex in replace dialog. From: case (?!\.)(?<name>.*?)\n To: case ${name} = "${name}"\n
Error hints in @appcode propagate up the call chain like this. So useful. One of the joys of my work is using this tool everyday. #WhyAppCode
That’s why I use @appcode, in addition it keeps all my breakpoints just in the branch where I set them
Days since Xcode moved my breakpoints after I have already moved them when editing code: 0⃣
Every half a year I evaluate @appcode Swift support and happy to say it’s caught up quite a lot since last time I used it. Been using it for few days now and It’s much nicer to work with than Xcode is, you should give it a try if you didn’t use it in a while :)
Love the way @jetbrains @appcode deals with bugs, I reported an issue this morning, a few hours later it has been acknowledged and assigned to an engineer whose name I can see. Apple could learn a thing or two here.
If you use @appcode check out the grep console plug-in. It makes it much easier to see errors and warnings in your console.
Almost all @jetbrains @appcode splash screens. Version 1.0 - 2.0 were not available for download anymore.
Introducing @jetbrains IDE logo generator built in @appcode with #Metal and #Swift. One touch — one shiny new IDE. Thanks @xd720p for the idea!
@jetbrainsRider @jetbrains I know most of you complain about the fact it’s written in Java but frankly almost everyone that says that have not really used @appcode for Objective-C, it was 100x better than Xcode, also Sourcery(all Swift) was written mostly using AppCode.
After a separation of about 5 years I am back in love with @appcode.
Getting ready to take the road for Lugano tomorrow and reunite with friends at @appbuilders_ch ! I’ll be doing a lightning talk at lunch to show some of my favorite features in @appcode, the IDE I use most of the time to write code.
If you never used @appcode, you should try it even if just for its conflict resolution workflow, best I’ve ever used :)
The configurable TouchBar in @appcode is fantastic
