i’m a strong believer in the power of “granny hobbies” to improve your mental health (and detox from digital everything) reading, knitting, gardening, crafting, cooking, baking, board games, sewing, birdwatching, playing cards, drinking tea …
it’s hard to just tell people to get offline without any idea of what to do offline besides the typical going out to eat, drink, and walk / run / workout granny / grandpa hobbies are waiting for modern SMBs to be built around them :)
@anuatluru convinced this is one of the keys to happiness get offline, build something with your hands, go outside, interact with nature
@anuatluru Knitting is such a meditation for me - I 100% agree
@anuatluru Not just “grannies” I’ve been doing these since forever though I don’t garden/knit since childhood. I plan on testing indoor gardening. I read normal books but also keep digital. I cook almost daily. Coffee & tea is a must. Here you just heard birds + alerts 🇺🇦 @abstrakt_m3
@anuatluru I have a knitting project on my desk at all times so I can take non-screen work breaks. x.com/SeizureSalad31…
