[💻DEV UPDATE] Remember when the earlier Mario & Luigi games let you perform certain Bros. Moves infinitely? We do! Here's a look at one of the first Duo Attacks you get, which, once upgraded, lets you perform it forever, until you mistime the input! [🔊Sound on!]
In Mario and Luigi games, if a bro gets KO'd, you have to carry him while dodging attacks, which was often more cumbersome than fun- so we decided to do away with it. Instead,Tara or Vyn will just drag the other off-screen. Also showing off the graphical overhaul for the sewers!

Theme of a mysterious girl not from her time. This one is a very important track for the game, as it's melodies will be used as leitmotifs throughout quite a few other tracks in the soundtrack! I'm very happy with how it turned out.
The theme for our second protagonist, Vyn! I actually composed this one a long time ago, but I still really liked the melodies and felt they fit his character well, so I just tried to rearrange them in my current style! Edgy theme for an edgy guy :p
Finally can get around to post the theme for one of the main characters of Hunter Chronicles - Tara. A peppy, cheerful theme for a peppy, cheerful girl!
Today's screenshot saturday is a pretty big one - showcasing the Hammer and Baseball Bat attacks, and all five of their ratings! Like in Mario and Luigi, the better your timing, the more damage you'll deal, but if you don't press anything in time, you'll fail the attack instead.
Completely revamped key art of our main characters, Tara and Vyn! Our lead artist @GattaiMon has gotten a lot of practice drawing them over the last few months, so we decided to have him redo their key art one last time, to show off our protagonists better than ever before!

We spent time polishing up attack animations, making the characters shake to give a better visual cue for when their buttons are meant to be pressed, and making the animations more dynamic overall. We also finally are working on enemy turns, Tara can now take damage during them!

@RobinPoedev I think localizations should be held to a higher standard. I didn't like it when 8-4 did silly shit to Fates. I hate it more when the localization groups say every Japanese game with a black woman in it got "Sweet Baby'd" and they try to witch hunt localization devs.
