@AmazonHelp Here's another. Note this is from a private window, not logged in. It should be trivial to scan for these and block them. The fact that they exist and stay up is absolute proof that AMAZON IS COMPLICIT IN FRAUD.

@AmazonHelp This is a systemic problem that anyone who can afford to buy 1000 followers and become an "influencer" can build a scam site ON AMAZON ITSELF. This MUST BE FIXED as you are helping to commit fraud through amazon's negligence.

@AmazonHelp I guess you didn't read my tweet. There was no fake tSMS involved. This is a fake site hosted on amazon.com as an "influencer" shop, but designed to look like an error requiring a phone call. I did report this, but since it keep happening, you obviously don't care.

@NYCMayor What are your plans to address this? Our 16yo Chinese friend got scammed by one of these guys yesterday at JFK, tried to charge him $421. We settled for $80, should have been zero but we got too cold waiting for NYPD to respond to our 911 call about unlawful detention.

@AmazonHelp I'm glad to see that that phishing page has finally been removed, but am greatly disappointed by how slow amazon was to acknowledge and handle the threat. I have zero confidence that there aren't hundreds more such pages and will be recommending that people just avoid amazon.

@WIRED Despite all my attempts to report it, this phishing page that fooled my mother is still up on amazon.com. Might be worth an article on how amazon is facilitating phishing and has no reasonable way to report it...

@AmazonHelp I already reported the issue there and haven't heard back yet. I don't think anyone at amazon recognizes what a serious problem it is to have a fake customer service number appearing on an amazon-hosted page that looks to a naive user like my 86-year-old mother like a real error

@nyctaxi I filed a 311 complaint back on Nov 28 regarding a Yellow Cab overcharging us (he scammed us with a $65 flat fare from LGA to Midtown East, which should have been around $42 on the meter). Haven't heard back and it's been more than 14 days.
