“Journalists have been attacked without… justification. They must at least be afforded protection as they are doing their noble job. They are humans before being journalists.” Al Jazeera English correspondent Tareq Abu Azzoum has spent over six months reporting from the ground in Gaza. Many of his colleagues and loved ones have been killed in that time. He spoke with me about the reality of reporting from inside Gaza.

@amanpour Israel has 6mil Jews, 2mil Arabs, no hamas, no problem. Why is that? Hamas killed Arabs as well as Jews. Want to look into this?
