maturity is actually realizing that heeseung and enhypen are on their respectives paths. that enhypen is successful bc they’re capable, because even as six members they are as good as when they were seven, and they can break as many records now as they did back then. and heeseung is just as successful as a soloist as when he was in the group. maturity is accepting you aren’t the majority, that new people joined both fandoms (ever and engene), that most people gave up on boycott because their views changed and decided to support enhypen and evan separately. maturity is listening to the idols you claim to love, to properly take in the words the leader spoke on live while representing the other 5 members. to put the members feelings and words before your own because no one has suffered more than enhypen and evan. our fandom’s pain doesn’t compare. maturity is to stop twisting their words, to stop saying they are forced every time they say something that doesn’t align with what you believe. to finally listening and believing them because if you dont believe your idols, then what’s the next move? nothing was ever certain, none of us were there and none of us are friends with them so how would you know? maturity is to stop making ai pictures with heeseung included in an ot6 picture, and stop adding him on the new songs through ai cause that only disrespects the effort and hard work of the members who actually are in the song. (and that goes both ways, you dont add enhypen’s voices to ride or die). maturity is to stop making theories out of thin air, to take some time to pay attention to the members, to what they’re into, to what they share with us. no, jay isn’t showing off ‘007’ bc of heeseung, he’s showing it off cause he’s a huge fan of james bond. no, the choreography doesn’t indicate that heeseung will come back mid-tour. no, the fictional lore isn’t narrating what will happen, the mvs aren’t leading to his return, it’s fictional, there’s a story that enhypen has been telling through their videos since they debuted, about vampires, nothing related to bringing heeseung back. if you paid attention you’d know they’re vampires on the run bc they broke the rules and they have been on the run since debut. maturity is accepting that even tho his departure wasn’t handled properly and it wasn’t how he expected it, it was still his choice (even if it was unfair to be given a choice in the first place). maturity is separating your desire for hee to be back from the boycott because you can boycott a company that’s openly evil without pushing for a narrative about “seven.” you were told not to talk abt numbers anymore, that ppl like u start fights and no one wants that, if you weren’t dropping “enhypen is seven” no one would be fighting you about it. maturity is accepting that moving on has nothing to do with moving forward. nobody is telling you to move on or abandon your belief that the company is bad, you’re simply being told to accept reality and support enhypen and evan as they are. finally, maturity is accepting that both enhypen and heeseung are happy on their new paths.
