I hope for the sake of the seniors in your rural district, and for the sake of seniors across America, that other policymakers come to their senses, accept reality and begin to protect access to care for those who need it most.
The Biden administration’s arbitrary staffing mandates for nursing homes would force these critical facilities to close in rural communities, including #IA04. Top-down, government-knows-best rules are not the solution to providing exceptional care for our seniors.
We need to help our seniors and make sure they are receiving the best care. @VP’s proposal does not solve the nursing home crisis and threatens more nursing homes to shut down.
