AMERICA BACK OFF! America has no moral authority when it comes to lecturing Africa about democracy. That’s the stinging assessment of Zambia’s opposition leader, Fred Mnembe. He delivered it during the visit of US Vice President Kamala Harris. And pointed to her country’s ruthless pursuit of coups and enslavement in the past.
We can say negative things about a country. But why don’t we also talk about the positives. The United States is not perfect, but it’s truly a free nation that taps into peoples potentials. It’s not a secret that the United States is the #1 destination for immigrants. That’s for a reason. The United States has brought many of the advancements we see in the world today. China came do be from the capitalist concept that the United States introduced. It came to be from the investment of American corporations. America always share their knowledge and experience. They don’t build massive internal firewalls to keep people out. Congratulations on Chinas success, success is the American dream and every country deserves that dream. God Bless America and the world.
@african_stream Question for you: What english language sources that explain what is going on in Africa from the African perspective can you point people toward. Any youtubers or podcasts? I appreciate your content.
@african_stream The US plunders Africa, it unleashes civil wars, it topples the regimes of those who aspire to build pan-African unity in opposition to Western Imperialism. Harris and her imperialist compatriots have maintained the economic underdevelopment of Africa. Shame on the empire!
@african_stream Don't forget that CIA facilitated the arrest of Nelson Mandela, death of Che Guevara, etc
@african_stream while they just sold everything to the Chinese for colourful beads...
@african_stream I'm an American and I am telling you this: Don't listen to a damn thing officials from my Government say. My Government is filled with professional liars and war criminals. They are not to be trusted and you can quote me on that.
@african_stream Great speech. Its sad to see majority of “African Decendents” who grew up in America have lost that beautiful soul from which their ancestors are from.
