في القرن الأول الميلادي، رسم الجغرافي الإسكندري الشهير پَطْلُمْيُس (بطليموس) خريطة للعالم القديم في كتابه "الجغرافية". المثير للدهشة أنه وضع في وسط شبه الجزيرة العربية بحيرة عظمى رسمها بشكل اتساع العين، ولم يمنحها اسماً سوى "بحيرة العرب". ولأنه اعتمد على أرشيف الحضارات السابقة وخرائط الفينيقيين، اعتقد الكثيرون لقرون أن هذه البحيرة مجرد خطأ جغرافي. لكن الدراسات الحديثة فجرت مفاجأة: الموقع الصحيح لهذه البحيرة ليس وسط الجزيرة، بل في وسط اليمن المعاصر، ممتدة بين حضرموت وجبال اليمن! لتتبع حدود هذه البحيرة، تم إجراء محاكاة طوبوغرافية حديثة؛ بتحديد أعمق نقطة في وادي حضرموت (بارتفاع 709 أمتار عن سطح البحر) ورفع منسوب المياه افتراضياً لمسافة 300 متر. النتيجة كانت مبهرة! برسم هذه الحدود المائية، ظهر مبرر منطقي لمواقع عواصم الحضارات العربية الجنوبية. مدن مثل مأرب، تِمنع، ريبون، شبام، وسيئون لم تُؤسس في صحراء قاحلة كما نتخيل، بل كانت تتحلق حول هذه البحيرة العظيمة كنقاط استيطان حيوية. لقد عاش أجدادنا في "جنات عدن" غناء بالماء والخضرة على طول مجرى نهر الخارد. كانت "بحيرة العرب" تمتلك نظاماً مائياً فريداً؛ حيث تغذيها 7 أنهار ومسيلات دائمة الجريان من الغرب والجنوب (مثل وادي شبوة، وادي بيحان، وادي حريب، ومسيلات صنعاء) لتملأ مساحة بطول 400 كم وعمق 300 متر. ثم تخرج منها 3 أنهار عظيمة لتصب في بحر العرب (وادي مسيلة، والسفال، ومصب الهيبالة). تخيل المشهد: مراكب وسفن شحن تبحر على ظهر هذه البحيرة، تنقل البضائع بين موانئ بحرية داخلية تربط جبال اليمن بحضرموت.. من هنا اكتسبت حضرموت اسمها الحقيقي: حواضر الماء! 🔆أين اختفت البحيرة؟ (سر الهجرة الكبرى) توفي پَطْلُمْيُس عام 170م، وكانت البحيرة لا تزال موجودة في زمانه بفضل الثلوج والأمطار التي كانت تتراكم على جبال اليمن. التساؤل المرعب: كيف جفت هذه البحيرة فجأة؟ اختفاء هذا النظام المائي العظيم قد يكون التفسير الجيولوجي الأدق لـ تصحّر اليمن وتهدم حواضره. لقد هربت مياه البحيرة إلى البحر، ومعها جفت أنهار القتبانيين والأوسانيين، لتخرج القبائل العربية أفواجاً في إحدى أكبر الهجرات البشرية في التاريخ القديم. @DrMohammedBa المصادر والمراجع: 1 NIKLAAS GÖRSCH, Ptolemy’s Geography and the Tabulae modernae, Deutsches Archäologisches Institut, Germany. 2 The Rev.
