reaper is much, much, much better than audition. v powerful w/r/t automation of stems both pre and post fx and has a UI that balances simplicity with ease of use in a way that other daws lack imo. - liam
Every year, more and more CMU art students independently adopt @Adobe alternatives. I'm personally switching to Affinity and DaVinci. Hopefully soon we'll be able to drop CC as default toolset in our school and stop training lifetime renters.

today's progress for @aaaandcut got me to this rough blocking for our other character too
and for our last transition option for this particular interaction, we've created what we call a "spreading" transition
we're trying out a few other kinds of transitions with this interaction, which people will be able to play around with with our final set of technical tools (this one's a wipe!!)
this is an early prototype of a VR transition we've made that uses gaze to dissolve from one scene to the next
