@defidivvy That said, I still (stubbornly) believe that Flare Network is doing something unique. It's why I'm still in it. It's either they and the surrounding ecosystem succeed in fostering these new usecases and Flare is discovered, or it lags along into obscurity. I believe the former.
@defidivvy On top of that, some of the major usecases of Flare are only just now starting to bud. It takes time, and a lot of it, for this stuff to be tried, tested, proven, and noticed by the larger market as a whole - then there's the time needed for apps to be developed and mature.
@econmstr@starboy9457@HugoPhilion So I guess the question is what field is your startup in and how does it typically make money? Then we'd go from there and see if there's a spot where verifiable data would be useful.
@econmstr@starboy9457@HugoPhilion One way would be to build or use an existing application (of which I'm sure more are being developed) that uses the Flare Data Connector. You might ask "In what way would that application be used?" That depends on the app. It would also depend on the nature of your startup.
@JRodXRP@FlareNetworks I'd also enable autoclaiming if I were you. You know, I'm happy to make a video of this whole process if it helps. Easier to go into depth than on a tweet.
@JRodXRP@FlareNetworks It's been a while since I've done it so I was going by memory. Make sure to leave some FLR unwrapped (maybe 50) - After you tap delegate, there's a screen where you need to select 1 or 2 signal providers to delegate to. Choose what amount of your wrapped FLR you want to delegate.
@JRodXRP@FlareNetworks Just start with wrapping / delegating. Easiest way to do that is download the BiFrost wallet on your phone - then buy FLR on an exchange. Send the FLR to your BiFrost wallet. Select it and hit wrap, and then select it again and delegate. Done - now you get monthly air drops.
@starboy9457@HugoPhilion What part don't you understand? I'm happy to try explaining. He's basically asking potential developers what they would want to build as a result of 2 chains having interoperability and access to web2 data that's still provable on the blockchain.
@Brett_FLR Nice, but one thing to keep in mind is that you can look at it the other way too: Flare MUST be at that price in order to act as sufficient collateral - if it's not at that price, it will be unable to act as collateral for that amount of assets. That said, it's still promising
12 new block-latency price feeds are now available in FTSO on @FlareNetworks ☀️
$TON, $SUI, $PEPE, $AAVE, $FTM, $ONDO, $TAO, $RNDR, $NOT, $RUNE, $HNT, and $QNT.
ICYMI, FTSO can support up to 1,000 feeds.
Learn how you can propose new ones: flare.network/12-new-price-f…
@waveaboard I'm speaking from memory here so I might be relaying some info incorrectly, but honestly just go read about them - I like their documentation: flare.network/flare-101/
@waveaboard Google Cloud (among many others, enterprise and retail) have become validators on Flare, meaning they are validating things like price feeds and eventually web2 data, and potentially AI training data. There's some averaging out of validators to agree on data on things like price.
