@NealCoolong Not the end all be all, and I think they need more WR talent, BUT…..

Steelers open season at home and Art Rooney II is already on the field with other personnel inspecting the new NFL-mandated field surface. That's what happens when another team plays two games on your field before you do.

@NealCoolong @RocDocs13 @AustinRBechtold 3 guys took extensions at (or below) market value with lower guaranteed money vs a player who is asking to be paid top of market value. Very comparable situations, I wonder why the other 3 got done easier!!

@NealCoolong Could you argue moving him around, especially w/ limited experience, hindered his growth? Sure. Ultimately, he’s below the line player who never developed - that falls first on player, then on position coach. Order of operations for blame is reversed b/c people don’t like Tomlin

New #Seahawks owner Vinod Khosla says he’s still a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, explaining that he came to the United States in 1976, when they were dominating the sport. “I still watch all the Steelers games, too.”

Legitimately embarrassing draft… terrible process on all 3 days

Chris Adamski @C_AdamskiTrib

Kaden Wetjen is currently golfing while the draft is going on and just found out while on the course he was selected. He expected to meet with family later in the day. "It came earlier than expected, and I didn't shank it into the pond after I got picked, so everything is good!"

@MikeyMunhall7 They could sign the top 15 players in the portal and it wouldn’t matter. The coach is terrible. Good haul though - looks like they are yet again trying to play an archaic form of basketball despite Capel’s best success coming with a team that had great spacing and shooting.

“Limited NIL budget” The Capel/Goodman podcast post Capel’s midseason firing is going to be a banger

Georgia Tech transfer Baye Ndongo is headed to Pittsburgh, source told @TheFieldOf68. The 6-9 junior averaged 11.8 points and 8.1 boards this past season. He's averaged 12.6 points and 8.5 rebounds over 90 career games at Tech. Really good pickup for Jeff Capel - especially

Jeff Capel should spend less time talking to Jeff Goodman and more time building a roster

One high-major head coach to me: “This has become a joke. We got guys who averaged 3 points a game asking for a million dollars. It’s completely out of control.”
