never had a salary since I’ve also done my own thing but I will say that to exponentially grow your income, it takes years of being underpaid and still having a ridiculous work ethic once you find what you are good at / lay a foundation for yourself and still apply that same work ethic you had when you were broke, the income compounds and gives you a bit more flexibility to have freedom but only because you carried that same work ethic into every thing you’ve done also, giving more than you take just doing the right thing, not grifting, making sure you take care of people even if you can’t fully afford to do it…it’s how you actually grow your income/networth
