does my mind miss the crowdedness? i’ve lived in a dream for so long that outside of paper it is all different. artists are meant to be stuffed; meant to be messes; there’s way more inspiration and poetry to pull from. was i even a poet? or just an orchestrated overwritten mess?
nothing i write is poetic anymore because nothing is made up. everything is real. i speak the words that i used to write down. my pages end up empty. this feels so different, almost bad, to have so little to write. i no longer muse, live inside of my mind.

if the words do not come who needs them in an audience when there is the best show of their life, on display who needs words who needs them? they’re a cop out for feeling which can be fine in absolute silence.
just bawled thinking about how beautiful my life will be. its one thing to be grateful--but to be in awe of a life you have yet to live is...something short of spectacular.
keeping my head above water while simultaneously drowning in you
the evening sky is asking for your attention.
poets are so concerned with breakfast, and the idea of the morning, the sun dawning in on us through the window.
every breath is so generous
excessively capturing pictures of the earth because who knows what it'll look like or what condition it'll be in a few years....
but i can't see past the brownness in your eyes. I'll keep holding onto the auburn shirt you had on last night. I'll keep holding onto 10 pm
