@Rename360 @BootlessBuck @jdmurray @gurgx3 Yeah I’m agreeing with the first part of that statement. He didn’t like it. He preferred FireWire. Which at the time was far superior to USB. It was included in early iMac for compatibility with keyboards and mice which at the time were transitioning away from PS/2.

@BootlessBuck @jdmurray @gurgx3 What are you talking about? He pushed FireWire which they started developing in the 1980s. It was far superior to USB until USB 3.0. At which point, it was replaced by Thunderbolt which now runs on USB-C.

@Nenstiel @cutietoryxo @theepopprince They do. They change the IP the server you are requesting from will see. Inherently this does nothing for privacy of cookies, headers, or the request body. In this case, it is likely the App Store region used to download the app determines the servers being requested.

I had a recent psych eval and the results indicated I actually have superior pattern recognition capabilities. I’m in the top 2% of people. This tracks as it is a big part of what I’ve done professionally for the last 20 years.
