三科，又稱三法，佛教術語，是在阿毗達磨中對於一切法的分類方法之一。部派佛教論書中，將一切法分為蘊、處、界三者，合稱三科。

六識，佛教術語，識的分類法之一，為六種感官認知的功能，為眼識、耳識、鼻識、舌識、身識及意識六者的合稱，六識的集合稱為六識身，形成六識界。與六根、六塵，合稱為十八界。 若單立意識，則餘者稱五識。瑜伽行唯識學派則加上末那識與阿賴耶識，稱為八識。

塵是執著，而非泥塵，智者棄之； 垢是嗔恨，而非泥垢，智者棄之； 塵垢是無明，此外無他； 智者清除此污垢與障礙， 即得解脫。 因為這瞬間浮現的偈頌，他頓悟到，執著、嗔和痴這三毒是輪迴的根本！他打破了自我的幻象和一切迷惑的根本。 說：我清楚地看見了！敬禮世尊！ 他終於透視幻象而證得開悟。

阿難教了周利槃陀伽這麼一個偈頌： 諸惡莫做，使自己免予邪惡的思想， 眾善奉行，莫執自我， 正念、正知、正命， 則能免於傷害、煩惱， 這就是諸佛教示。

［我見］簡單的來講，佛陀他講到我們的執著分成三個層次，一個是在見的層次，一個是在愛的層次，一個是在慢的層次。 ［我見］傳統上的講法是初果，預流的時候斷的，［我愛］是在三果不還果的時候斷的，［我慢］是阿羅漢果，漏盡的時候所斷除的。

關於世界實相與輪回主體： 在原始佛教，並没有對所謂的“世界實相”有什麼描述及本體論的論述，因為以苦集滅道為核心的佛教理論本質上是一種實踐的方法【八正道】，並不探討諸如“世界實相”之類與解脫無關的問題。
