@chrismunns @vercel I like the default of Functions being 30m because it brings the experience of the product closer to the tradeoffs made under the hood. Short lived, multi tenant, ephemeral state code goes on functions. Everything else goes on sandboxes. V happy that things are getting tho

You can give just Codex napkin math numbers on each part of your stack, say that it's too slow and things will magically get faster. This works pretty well at the start of a project too, you find the tradeoffs much earlier. Should I make this into a skill?

@theo @Madisonkanna Maybe the Fed doesn’t randomly send out notices on a Friday afternoon sure. This is still in their purview, ITAR has been around awhile, a lot of foreign nationals could not work at Lockheed or Maxar because of it. Other model companies don’t seem to be having this issue

@davis7 Brother, satellite imagery has similar kinds of regulation and last I checked there wasn’t an image that could potentially help create a new virus or hack crucial infrastructure. You get what you deserve when you cry wolf the way they have.

The Trump administration has placed Anthropic's Mythos 5 and Fable 5 under export controls. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick sent a letter to Dario Amodei tonight stating that foreign governments, companies, and individuals will no longer have access to either model.
