There are a lot of people that have looked at @coingecko & @CoinMarketCap to look into #Verus to see what all the fuss is about…and have unknowingly made a critical error in judgment by doing so. You see, #Verus is the only Multi Chain/Multi Asset system on planet earth where most of the volume, trading, liquidity, market cap, etc. is happening at the consensus layer of the protocol. Verus has no need for centralized or decentralized exchanges, or smart contracts above the protocol. That’s why it’s only on 2 small exchanges. So…what you see in 24 hour volume on CG or CMC is ~60,000 in 24 hour volume (image 1 highlited in yellow). CG & CMC only track centralized and decentralized exchanges, NOT on chain protocol level volume, etc. The person using CG or CMC for their “research🙄” assume little is happening, because they assume #Verus is like everything else on the long list of obsolete chains and protocols they are used to. It’s what caused them to miss $VRSC going from .78 cents to 4.23 in 6 months. They will miss it going from $4+ to $10+ soon too. What is ACTUALLY happening on chain at the consensus layer of the #Verus Internet Protocol is over 3.2 Million dollars in 24 hour volume👀...without the users having to exit the system to use an exchange of any kind. This is unprecedented and unique. Even known experts in crypto are unaware that this is happening on Verus. I have a theory about that, so this will be a very long post😀. This is just my opinion but I believe this is how it will play out, I have felt this way for a while now. Here is a quote that summarizes it, followed by why this quote is relevant later down the post: “Show me the incentives and I will show you the outcome.” -the late Charlie Munger Anybody who does a deep dive on Verus should be able to figure out that it is legitimately the best tech and the best design in the entire crypto industry, if they are honest, and have some blockchain knowledge as a frame of reference. Even though Verus is so advanced, it is very difficult to draw attention to it in a sea of 10,000+ blockchains, many of which have VC funding and bad motives(not mention poor design). Verus has had organic, stable community growth and design. It has been slow going but more people are understanding Verus is vastly, and I mean VASTLY different from all the others. One of the most important differences with Verus, one I believe will be responsible for a ‘gradually, then suddenly’ type event, is the incentive model. The way the Verus incentive model works is superior to anything that exists right now elsewhere. The thing about the Verus incentive model is that as the network expands and adds chains and currency baskets, there is a feedback loop of value in the fee pool that gets distributed to all the Miners and Stakers. There will be a point in the near future where rewards to secure & participate in the network will be impossible for anybody to ignore. The profitability of low power devices compared to ASIC and GPU mining everywhere else will pale in comparison. We have only gotten tiny glimpses of what that incentive model in Verus looks like to date. At present there are only two independent blockchains running with their respective Bridge currencies and 3 Multi Asset Basket Currencies, one of which is still in preconversion for another ~7 days This is a system where the incentives expand as it gets larger because of the interchain connected activity feeding the fee pool which increases the block rewards well beyond what the coinbase reward is. Nothing else has this mechanism. This is purely a guess on my part but I think when there are roughly 5 to 7 independent chains running and somewhere between 10 to 15 liquid basket currencies in operation at the same time I think Verus explodes at that point. It could be more or less, I don’t know. But…math works, and this system has some high level math at work that makes it inevitable. Where does the real attention start? The buzz is going to start in the mining community that Miners and Stakers on Verus are making far more value per watt than anything else by far. That is important because people go where the incentives are. When that starts to happen, that’s when the app developers, programmers, and the Blockchain devs really start to notice, because EVERYONE wants to go where the money is being made. When the devs start looking, they’re going to realize that to develop an app on Verus is far better and easier to do than any other block chain out there. I think attracting people from the outside Verus, to come in, is not as effective as the ecosystem going parabolic from activity WITHIN the network itself, due to its ‘feedback loop’ type incentives. There will be a moment people will have to pay attention. Not long after that is the “I wish I would have known about Verus sooner” era😀 There are more chains coming. There are more baskets coming. This incentive model, when we crosses a certain point, is going to blow the doors off the crypto world. Everything is in place now for that to happen.

Crypto ideas are not derivatives of something on ethereum. Almost all of the key ideas were already out there before ethereum came along. Ethereum was built to enable these ideas, and it probably made some wrong design decisions out of the gate. Here's a 🧵

Last night I was thinking about how every idea in "crypto" is a derivative of something on Ethereum (or its predecessor, bitcoin) Has there ever been a unique app idea on a different chain? I can't think of any.
