Do you know that the average single man can go months or even years without non-sexual physical touch. No hugs. No hand-holding. No comforting pat on the back? The only time many men experience gentle touch is from a barber or a paid sex worker. This condition is called 'Skin Hunger,' and it leads to severe depression and anxiety. Society has labeled male touch as 'predatory' or 'creepy,' so men have learned to starve themselves of human contact just to make women feel comfortable. They are dying of loneliness in a crowded room.
That memory card slot on a Mi-Fi router isn’t for storage the way it is on a phone but it’s there to turn the router into a tiny file server. When you insert a microSD card, the Mi-Fi can share files on that card over Wi-Fi to any connected device. Phones, laptops, or tablets on the same network can access documents, music, videos, or firmware files without plugging the card into each device. In simple terms, the router becomes a wireless flash drive. Some Mi-Fi models also use the card for logging and diagnostics, like storing connection logs, SMS backups, or system data. In more advanced setups, it can host basic web pages, configuration backups, or even serve media for streaming within the local network. The key idea is convenience and portability. Since Mi-Fi devices are designed for travel and mobile use, the memory card slot lets you carry data and internet access in one pocket-sized device. It’s not mandatory for normal internet use and it’s an extra feature most people never realize their router even has.
🇳🇬 Dear Nigerians, We have carefully reviewed the released Certified True Copies of the Tax Reform Acts and the gazettes your government now parades. We have also taken note of the dates boldly printed on them. With that established, let us be clear. Your government is not smart. They simply assume many of you are ignorant. After weeks of sustained public pressure, they issued this clumsy press statement claiming they had “released” the gazetted copies of the Tax Reform Acts, applauding themselves as leaders of a transparent government. That claim is false. It is insulting and honestly misleading. While the world was focused on Venezuela, the House of Representatives, in quiet coordination with the Presidency, released what it now calls Certified True Copies (CTCs) of the four Tax Reform Acts. They even congratulated themselves and praised the Speaker’s so-called “transparency drive.” If you examine the released files, you will find presidential assent pages attached and a Google Drive link to gazettes dated June 26, 2025. This is nowhere near transparency. It is damage control. The timing tells the real story. The four Acts are now being presented as the “AUTHENTIC” versions, conveniently cleansed of the coercive provisions that triggered national outrage. No compulsory 20 percent appeal deposits. No unchecked garnishee powers without court orders. Oversight restored. Due process acknowledged. Fine. At least public fears have been partially allayed. But this question remains unavoidable: if these gazetted copies were genuinely published in June 2025, why were Nigerians previously shown different texts? Why wait until January 2026, after implementation commenced on January 1, before releasing these CTCs? Why only act after public outrage peaked, following Hon. Dasuki’s warning and interventions by other prominent Nigerians? This release is an admission by stealth. They are loudly conceding that rogue versions indeed circulated. They refuse to say who inserted those clauses, who printed them, who distributed them, and under whose authority Nigerians were subjected to texts that were never law. The press statement dismisses the earlier versions as “unauthorised and misleading,” instructs citizens to ignore them, and praises institutional memory while the Betara-led ad hoc committee drags on with no timeline, no findings, and no consequences. Nigerians, re-gazetting does not cure the offence. It sanitises the record and evades responsibility. Post-assent alteration is not an error. It is forgery. It is uttering. It is conspiracy. It is misconduct in public office. It is legislative usurpation under Section 4 of the Constitution. If the CTCs reflect what the National Assembly actually passed, then the earlier circulating texts were criminal fakes and indeed doctored, and someone must answer for publishing fake laws as binding statutes. So far, there are no conclusions. No prosecutions. No apologies. Only PR and forced normalisation as usual. But the deeper danger here is precedent. If laws can be quietly altered and later “corrected” without consequence, then legislation becomes an executive plaything. Nigerians, please do not be distracted by executive conspiracies and shenanigans. We are not fools like the nepotistic zombies who applaud their foolishness. This was a legislative smokescreen. Please let us continue to demand the essentials. A full independent probe must be conducted. Those who altered our laws must be identified. They must be prosecuted once forgery is confirmed. There must be immediate suspension of implementation until this issue is cleared. Anything less normalises CONSTITUTIONAL TREASON. Laws must not become playthings in the hands of executive mischief makers. We are not fools, even though we are led by chronic kakistocrats. #SuspendTaxReformAct #SayNoToForgedLaws
House of Representatives, National Assembly Office of the House Spokesman PRESS STATEMENT For Immediate Release Speaker Abbas Leads Transparency Drive as House Releases Four Tax Acts for Public Records *Abuja, FCT | Saturday, January 3, 2026* — The House of Representatives,
A man can be deeply in love with you and still walk away without looking back. Why? Because to a sensible man, peace is more valuable than love. People hate hearing this. They want to believe that if a man loves you, he will endure your chaos forever. That is a lie. Take the story of David and Simi. David was a perfect definition of real man. He was the kind of man who did not just date you, he upgraded you. When he met Simi, she was struggling with her final year project and battling depression. David stepped in. He paid for the research, he stayed up nights proofreading her work, and he got her a job at his friend’s firm after graduation. David loved Simi with a quiet, intense fire and was planning to propose in April. But Simi had a problem. Simi believed that a peaceful relationship was boring. She grew up watching toxic movies where passion meant fighting, screaming, and breaking things, only to have makeup sex later. To Simi, David’s calmness looked like weakness. She started testing him. She would pick fights just to see if he would yell. She would threaten to break up just to see if he would beg. Every time she acted crazy, David would calmly apologize, hold her, and reassure her. She told her friends she had him wrapped around her finger and he could not leave her because he loved her too much. It happened on the night of David’s biggest career achievement. He was receiving an award at a gala in Victoria Island. All his investors were there. David asked Simi to be ready by 6 PM. Simi decided to test him again. She wanted to see if he would wait for her. She did not start dressing until 7 PM. She ignored his calls. When David finally came to pick her up, he was sweating, anxious, and late. Instead of apologizing, Simi flared up. She asked him why he was rushing her and if the award was more important than her. She screamed that if he wanted to go, he should go. She expected him to beg. She expected him to say No baby, you are my world. Instead, David looked at the time. He looked at her, sitting on the bed in her robe, scrolling on TikTok while he stood in his tuxedo. The light in his eyes went out. He wanted to argue but paused and He simply said Okay. He turned around, walked out of the apartment he paid for, got in his car, and drove to the gala alone. Simi was shocked. She called him 50 times that night. No answer. She sent texts saying she hated him, then she sent texts saying she was leaving, then she sent texts saying she was sorry. Silence. The next morning, she woke up to a credit alert. David had sent her two million naira. The narration on the transfer readforr your rent and upkeep. Take care of yourself. She rushed to his house, but the gatekeeper told her Oga had traveled. She called his friends, and they told her to let him go. Simi spent six months waiting for him to come back. She told everyone he loved her and he would come back because they had a bond. But this time, David was done. One year later, Simi saw pictures of David’s wedding on Instagram. He married a lady who was not as pretty as Simi. She was not as fashionable. But in every picture, David looked rested. He looked like a man who could finally sleep with both eyes closed. Simi fell to her knees in her room. She realized too late that she had treated a husband like a fan. She thought his endurance was infinite. She did not know that a man’s tolerance has a breaking point, and once it snaps, not even God can glue it back together. Do not mistake a man’s patience for stupidity.
I watched the Stranger Things finale today in a packed theater with my family. It was quite a scene. There were tons of people wearing merch, just so excited to see how the thing ends. And by the time the credits rolled, it was pretty clear that everyone loved it. There were big cheers, big laughs and lots of tears (not from me tho I'm tough 😤). I talked to my real life friends afterwards and they also seemed to enjoy it. I was honestly moved by how cool of a moment this was. An original idea that grew into a worldwide phenomenon that so many people loved. AND they gave us a solid ending. How cool is that? How rare is that? Will we ever see something like that again? Then I check Twitter... And it was just lots of negative commentary from people who seem to get off on hating on things that normal people enjoy. And that's when it hit me. Twitter is our upside down. It's a lot like real life but much darker and full of negativity. Trolls are demogorgons. Elon is Vecna. And all of us are just trying to live our lives in peace with our friends. In conclusion: Stranger Things is a really fun show and I'm grateful for all the good times it gave my family. I honestly think we grew closer bc of it. Shoutout everyone who was involved in making it. PS: I'm clearly Steve in the analogy above.

Remember when Pastor E.A. Adeboye said he would never have a female secretary/PA be alone with a woman who isn’t his wife? He was heavily dragged online for that statement. Many young people insulted him, calling him old-fashioned or extreme, without realizing that he was speaking from a place of wisdom, experience, and responsibility. Interestingly, this is Jason Derulo a secular artist, not even a Christian, expressing the exact same sentiment after the accusations he faced. He said he would never again be alone in a room with a woman because of how easily a situation can be twisted and how devastating the consequences can be. And even after his case was dismissed, the dismissal didn’t trend nearly as much as the initial accusation that damaged his name. I’m not defending Jason Derulo, I don’t know anything about his personal life. It’s simply an observation: some truths are universal. Like it or not, some principles that elders teach aren’t about religiosity; they are about wisdom, protection, and foresight. And sometimes it takes seeing the same pattern repeat in the life of a completely different person before we realize those truths were never outdated.
In the early 90s, a woman planned with some yeye journalists secretly to set up Pastor W.F. Kumuyi. She went as a visitor, & rushed into the office somehow avoiding the protocol. As she bashed in & wanted to dash towards him, the journalists brought out their cameras BUT they met his wife right beside him inside. He lost his wife years after & in less than 2 years he remarried & people were shouting that how could he do such. Someone that is wise Dr Paul Enenche that doesn’t go anywhere without his wife, people think the wife is just doing gum-body everywhere. Lol These men don’t want to be in a situation where the devil would take advantage to tarnish their image. If e reach your turn, dey dey with women in a private place, when they twist the narrative on your hear, you’ll understand

My Dad went on a spiritual journey for me. While I was still in school, there was this guy who was obsessed with me. It wasn't normal, and I hadn't experienced it before. He would send me endless cryptic messages, tell me he wanted to marry me, and, in the same vein, threaten me that I didn't have a choice. For the first few weeks, I kept it to myself, but he sent me one particular message, and I knew right there that it was beyond me. So I went into my Dad’s home office and told him everything that’s been happening and showed him all the messages. That same week, this guy came to my parents' house, demanded to see me, and nobody opened the gate for him. He slept outside all night long. When we woke up in the morning, he was there. That was the scariest thing I had experienced up to that point. It was clear that he had a mental illness. I can't quite recall all the measures my dad took to protect me, but I can not forget one thing he did. He went on a 7-day fast. He did the first 3 days dry and had only liquids until day 7. He also had vigils every night without involving me or anyone else. Even though I had the problem, I had full meals during that period. After those 7 days, I did not hear from this guy again. Not one message, not an appearance, nothing. My Dad is my superhero. He would always say, a time will come in your life when your human capabilities and knowledge will fail you. Don't forget to keep God central in your life. That was one of the miracles I experienced in my life, and I have my Dad to thank for it.
One of the things that often upset my late husband was my submissiveness to the pastor, on our wedding anniversary which was always December 31st, we always host people for new year party, this has been our family ritual for many years which the pastor knows. A week to the anniversary, the pastor mandated me to cancel the anniversary celebration because he wanted to host church members same day, i marveled, why cancel? He said because majority of the people will come to ours. He pleaded respectfully and me, omo Jesu, went ahead to inform my husband, i told him to please, he said No, that its disrespect to him, i argued that he should understand, he said No! That i am blind and I can't see that the pastor was jealous of me. Oh, I was upset and said he should not speak low of the pastor that way. We didn't have the celebration, I went to the pastor's house to help with cooking and took my kids, but my husband Refused to attend. In my heart, I felt he wasnt a good Christian who was disobedient to my leaders. Different case scenarios like that and he will be adamantly be screaming that the pastor is evil, haba! Don't say this about a pastor. He left me with "You will learn in a hard way" If there was another way to express HARD " i learnt All my late husband kept saying was I was bewitched by religion. I tagged him, as an unbeliever. The same people, they all left me after my marriage broke. I felt they were my family. I Infact they were the people who spread so much ill and wicked words about me. My life secrets were on the street. I felt naked and ashamed. I LEARNT AND OVER LEARNT. The Lord helped me and comforted me. Dear sis, don't allow anyone steal your joy! God taught me alot in my 5 years of being alone. The act of submitting to a man no matter who he is, even if he is the worst of men. No pastor that wants to see you happy in life will ever ever wants to disrespect your husband or his choice of lifestyles. Please, take your family away from these kind of pastors, protect your husband and ensure you keep your home from all these things. Listen to him, respect him. Men aren't idiots, at times, they don't know how to explain to us women who are too religiously blind but trust me, you'll enjoy him if you can protect him from all this. Don't be a victim like us, don't learn in a hard way because not everyone will come back unscathed. May the Lord be with you!
I’ll be on my own, You people will come to my TL crying and calling me names that I snubbed Governor. I don’t respond most of the time. But when I do, you know it will touch slave and master. For the last time, Leave me alone! I don’t want to mingle with the govt that stripped me naked, beat me, tortured me, brutalized me and dehumanized me and while doing all of that told me to my face to “stop disturbing the governor” They said they could have killed everyone and no one would know anything about what happened. They hated the fact that I was there and they showed it to me! The plan was to demoralize me and intimidate me into silence! I survived it. And now they want me to roll on the floor when I see them?? Gbogbo yin patapata o ni Ku re!!!! Ok yes!!! The beating is still paining me! Yes!! I still have ptsd!!! I agree! Go and continue licking the bumbum that you have come to this world to lick and leave me TF Alone!!! But if una no gree leave me alone, I swear I Dey for una!!! I Still dey Kampe and there shall be no Compromise!!!
I’m getting a brand new car, buying a new house and getting married in 2025. I don’t even have the money right now 😂 but this will be proof of what God cannot do doesn’t exist
Be a man who has no desire to be seen often. Choose to be paid, hard to reach, and out of sight.
