We’re officially Guinness World Record holders. We set the record for the most people juggling a football simultaneously across multiple venues worldwide, with thousands taking part and an official record of 511. A massive thank you to every venue, partner, volunteer and participant who helped bring this to life and celebrate where football lives. Proud to have played a part in something that brought people together through the game
Just days after Haiti vs New Zealand was delayed by lightning and torrential rain in Florida, heavy rain swept through Auburn, Alabama, before Argentina vs Iceland. The pitch was partially flooded and weather conditions became impossible to ignore These aren't isolated incidents. They're part of a growing list of examples showing how extreme weather is already affecting the game Football depends on the places where itis played. At the Earth FC launch, Prime Minister @Keir_Starmer received his Earth FC jersey at @FluminenseFC in Rio, recognising the UK's new climate plan. Earth FC aims to mobilise millions and show that football can unite us to tackle climate change and protect nature. #joinearthfc

The historic Fluminense stadium is where Brazil national team played their first ever match in 1914 against @OfficialECFC! The UK and Brazil governments deserve credit for their leadership this past week, launching ambitious Climate Plans (NDC) and goals.
