As a software developer this gaming meta has really been an inspiration to me, I've been a developer for almost 15 years now and i've always wanted to get into game development but never really got around to it. I dabbled a little bit here and there but over the last few weeks i've got really stuck into it and been loving it. As a kid I grew up playing Pokemon so of course I had to have a go at recreating that beautiful Kanto gameplay. I've been building this for the last 3 weeks now, it's got free roaming pokemon, battle system, leveling up, evolving, items, catching pokemon, all 8 gyms. I even built in multiplayer PVP battles and trading, then I thought what about adding in crafting like gen 2 had so I added apricorn trees and also planting berries to make potions etc. It's been a great experience so far.
